Naphthenic Process Oils

The SOFER NOVE N Series consists of high‑performance process oils formulated from carefully selected hydrotreated naphthenic base stocks. Featuring a non‑staining nature, the series offers excellent thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and color stability, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial applications.

Highly hydrotreated grades provide low polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PCA) content, resulting in a non‑carcinogenic profile. The series shows excellent compatibility with NR, SBR, PBR, Butyl, and EPM/EPDM rubbers.

The SOFER NOVE N Series products enhance the performance and efficiency of rubber component processing. These oils act as plasticizers and processing aids in rubber compounds and, due to their naphthenic structure, provide excellent solvency, color stability, and thermal stability. Naphthenic oils are highly compatible with both natural and synthetic rubbers and are suitable for use with a variety of rubber polymers under different processing conditions.

Naphthenic rubber process oils improve the workability of rubber products, enhance filler dispersion, and increase production speed and processing quality. In addition to applications such as tires, hoses, belts, and mats, they are also widely used in rubber products such as footwear soles, conveyor belts, cables, and insulation materials.

Thanks to their non‑polar structure, higher viscosity, and good thermal stability, SOFER NOVE N oils support better retention of mechanical properties after ageing and allow for higher oil loading in formulations.
